A new business system and online store on a secure technical foundation
Rolling out Business Central and a new e-commerce platform involved several suppliers, integrations and permissions. The customer needed independent technical advice on the systems’ dependencies and security.
POISE contributed expertise in cloud architecture, application identities and secure API access, and coordinated technical questions between the platforms.
Business Central went live in 2026 and the new online store was launched. Work on further integrations continues.
The right data for the right people, with secure access
The company wanted to bring business data from Business Central and other systems together in Qlik Cloud, without granting unnecessarily broad access to sensitive information.
POISE provides architecture advice for the integration between Azure, Business Central and Qlik, with a focus on permissions and separate environments. A key element is secure API access to Business Central using a dedicated application identity, together with clear permissions and controlled access to other data sources.
Architecture and security work continues alongside the BI rollout.
