GDPR information

How POISE AB works with data protection, both as controller for this website and as processor in the services we provide to customers.

1. Principles

We apply the GDPR principles to all processing: lawfulness, fairness and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; integrity and confidentiality.

2. Where data is processed

POISE AB's own processing takes place within the EU/EEA, on our own servers in a Swedish data centre in Stockholm and with EU-based suppliers. For platforms our customers license themselves, such as Microsoft 365, the customer's agreement with that provider applies. The suppliers, regions and transfer mechanisms involved are listed on the Trust Centre page and in the data processing agreement.

3. Your rights

  • Right of access (Art. 15) – obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) – receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to object (Art. 21) to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing

4. Exercising your rights

Write to info@poise.se. We verify your identity and reply within one month. Complex requests may take up to two further months, in which case we tell you.

5. Personal data breaches

In the event of a breach we notify the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection within 72 hours where required, inform affected individuals without undue delay if the risk is high, and document the breach and the remedies. As a processor we inform the affected customer without undue delay as set out in the processing agreement.

6. Impact assessments

We carry out data protection impact assessments (Art. 35) for processing likely to result in a high risk to individuals' rights.

7. Suppliers

Suppliers that process personal data on our behalf are bound by processing agreements. The list is on the Trust Centre page.
